Bm Chord Guitar Diagram

The Bm chord guitar chart.

There are a few ways to play a Bm chord on the guitar. The easiest way starts on the 2nd fret.

It can be played as a barre chord or just with normal fingerings.

The chord diagram looks like this –

The notes of the Bm chord are B D F# (sharp)

You don’t have to play a barre chord – the root/1st note (Low B) on the 5th string can be left out and you can just play the top 4 strings (strum from string 4 down to 1)

The 4th fret on string 3 is a B note so you don’t need the barre unless you want the extra B in the bass for a stronger sound.

For complete video guitar lessons if you have never/just picked up a guitar, see my video course.

The Bm guitar chord is from the B minor scale.
