Personally my favourite guitar is a Fender Stratocaster. I own a white 1960s reproduction version that I am very proud of. There is nothing worse than playing a guitar you don’t like of feel uncomfortable playing.

Spend time choosing your guitar, if you don’t play yet, borrow a guitar from a friend and learn the very basics before buying your guitar.
